Central Taxis, Dover: Terms and Conditions
Reservations
Please provide the following information to support your reservation.
- Full name and address of person nominated as the principal contact regarding
this reservation.
- Principle contact: person who we will contact in relation to all arrangements.
- Numbers in the group if more than one person.
- Total Number of cases to be carried.
- Contact Telephone / Fax No.
- Contact Email address.
- Required vehicle type ( Please look at the Luggage Limitations section above
before making your decision)
- Arrival information - Flight details / Cruise Liner - and estimated times
of arrival. - or
- Alternatively - Exact pick-up point / address.
- Destination address (Hotel name & telephone no).
- Any other special requests
*Note -
Bookings are only confirmed once all of the information is complete and Central
Taxis Dover U.K have confirmed your booking by providing you with a 'confirmation
of booking - reference number'.
Payment of all bookings received via the Internet or by fax must be paid in
full up to 28 days before the service booked is due to commence.
Credit Card information required is:
- Principal nominated persons Card holder name (as appears on the card)
- Credit Card number and expiry date
- Card verification number - either last 3 digits shown on the rear of card,
or 4 digits embossed above card number for Amex cards.
- Card information received will be held and only processed within the 28
day period before the service is booked.
Conditions on Arrival at: Airports
- Your Central Taxis driver will greet you in the arrivals area at the airport
with a board displaying your name. If clients fail to locate our driver then
they should always proceed to the airport information desk, request for a
call to be put out for the - Central Taxis, Dover - driver, then stay in the
area by the information desk. If you are still unable to trace our driver
after this announcement then you should call our office on our 24 hour contact
numbers.
- Failure to follow the proceedures will result in the full amount agreed
being payable, whether or not the transfer was actually completed.
- In the event that a Sixteen Seater or Sixteen Seater + bus is booked by
the client for pick-up at Heathrow Airport, clients will be instructed to
contact our driver on a mobile number, that will be made available to them,
to enable them to meet up at a location outside of the Terminal Building;
as Airport regulations do not allow the drivers to park-up and leave vehicles
of that capacity unattended. In these circumstances, clients in the event
of difficulties would contact the driver through his mobile telephone number,
and failing that ,would then contact the office on our 24 hour numbers.
- If baggage and/or numbers of persons notified to be carried at the time
of booking exceeds those levels which can be safely carried by the Central
Taxis vehicle as ordered for the agreed work, then extra vehicles will need
to be ordered,(to arrive when available from the carrier), and the extra charge
as per the rates on the published price list of 'the carrier' will need to
be paid to the vehicle driver before the commencement of the journey to your
destination.
Cancellation Terms
- Any cancellations received after the 28 days deadline (up to minight G.M.T
of the 28th day, following the date of the 'confirmation of booking' number
being notified), will be subject to a £Sterling 75.00 cancellation fee.
- All cancellations within 7days of the service booked are non - refundable.
- Flight delays are not affected providing the information was available to
us 3 hours before the scheduled flight arrival.
- If this information was not available then waiting time will be added at
the current rates.
- Note the Cruise delays are not affected, they are however subject to availability
of vehicles should the delay exceed 6 hours. Bookings subject to delays beyond
6 hours are valid and will be processed as soon as the vehicles required are
available.
*Note - In respect of any cancellations clients will be given
a 'cancellation of booking number' and a refund only given as per our terms.
